New York - Where to live and how to live there?

living in Manhattan is expensive...unless you live in harlem or something lol....

better to live on the outlying boroughs and use public transportation!

The job is with a sweet little design shop in Soho. They have some great clients - galleries and fashion - and ofcourse the pay is crap. But what can you expect these days unless you go corporate and they are rarely hiring it seems.

Harlem doesn't look all that bad! Billy Clinton is there afterall.

But I'd really rather be closer to downtown. Or the park. Maybe in the park?
