Samurai S0110XJ Lee Repro Tag W30 L36, actual W30.5 L32 (chainstitch hemmed)

Yet another casualty of my weight loss – these are my favourite Sammys, model S0110XJ in W30 size. They’re a Lee repro featuring left hand twill 17oz denim that features crazy weft slub and the electric blue line selvedge. The denim is also very tightly woven and has a crazy amount of leg twist!

They fit true to size and fit really flatteringly. I would call it a perfect slim fit. These were hot soaked last summer then worn till dry (after a shower and worn just around the house) and at the time they fit me perfectly. Last month I had them hemmed at the 45rpm store in Paris to a spot on 32†inseam via their Union Special chainstitch machine using two tone thread. It looks v.v.nice!

Here are the measurements:

Waist: 30.5â€

Inseam: 32â€

Outseam: 42â€

Front rise: 10â€

Rear rise: 14.5â€

Hem: 8.5â€

how did you measure the waist, is that the actual circumference of the waist? did you measure them Samurai-style, the inside of the waistband with all buttons done, or did you just measure the back of the waistband?

Hey HJJ, I measured all the way around the inside of the waistband. Measured the back of the waistband laid flat at they come out to 15". Cheers.

If only they were a 31...Do you think they have any more stretching left to do?

Jaspar I haven't worn them under duress at all. My experience with Samurais is that they're tag + one. These will definitely stretch to a 31".
