Paper Denim vs PRPS

I have been wearing Paper for some time now. Need to find a switch. Just wondering how the fit on PRPS feels. Is it worth it.? I do like the purple buttons though.

isn't it more than that? The cheapest Prps I've seen start in the mid $200s with many going into the higher half whereas a good deal of Papers hover in the mid $100s I thought. Regardless of the price, I thought the original question was a bit difficult to answer because the 2 brands are rather different aren't they? How can you compare?

They are two completely different brands. Apples and oranges, really. Or more like apples and cucumbers, they're so vastly different as far as style and market goes.

I have owned both and prefer PRPS (at least the one pair I own, which are the kind of wrinkly denim 5 pockets). But if you like the cut and feel of the Paper Denims, you really might want to try on the PRPS first. They definitely have different fits.

thanks everyone for the tips. PRPS does seem extremely expensive. Is the selvedge really purple on the inside?

dont know if you care, but paper denim sells in costco now in l.a.

also, blue cult and von dutch, obviously the latter will sell anywhere. they were all being sold for $89 and sold out in a few days. haven't been back in awhile, dont know if they still sell there.

^^^those are probably factory rejects that have one of the tags cut out. They sell the same at outlets (about $90), like Off 5th (saks 5th ave outlet).

thinking about who is behind those companies, i wouldn't be surprised that they custom made some just for them
