getting out of paying for a won item on ebay

so im in some shit.

its come to my attention that the jordan 3's i just won on ebay are in fact fake. needless to say, i feel like a complete 'tard, turns out i need to bone up on my sneaker game.

but anyway, what would the repercussions be if i just didnt pay for them? would emailing the guy and just saying, no thanks, i dont want fake shoes work?

i know its a slim chance, but anyone have some ideas?

Just say you don't want to pay cause they are fake, and if he leaves negative feedback you'll do the same and report him to ebay for slanging fakes.

If he's smart he'll just relist them.

nah, you're not allowed to sell fakes on ebay. of course they won't do anything unless you bring it to their attention, but thinly veiled threats of that nature in the sellers direction should get you out of having to pay for anything without neg. feedback

if u dont wanna fuck wit it and just ditch message him and tell him you know its a fake and u will not buy it. tell him to forget about it if he thinks he's getting money and tell him if he leaves any negative feedback you will report him and his account will be canceled and there will be an investigation into his shit. then post a link to this thread.

Dont feel extorted into paying. Even if your ebay feedback goes to crap, you can start another account. DONT PAY!!! Usually the seller understands anyway, he doesnt wanna deal with your paypal dispute and return shipping headaches later on.

Here's one option, although if you're sure they're fake it's probably more trouble than it's worth, but...

Do you know how he is going to ship to you? If there is no tracking just pay via PayPal and then do a chargeback and you'll get the shoes for free, but do a little homework if you're gonna go this route.

Or just tell him you got a huge speeding ticket, fat ass dentist bill, had to pay for your father's headstone and that you cant pay.
