Scandinavian style sweaters?

I'm liking the look of these sweaters, but they look to be very heavy (I'm not quite familiar with ounces, but 1000g is either very heavy or a typo). Are there any other sweaters styled like this?

1000g is a thousand grams, meaning one kilogram. so its quite heavy, but hard to say how accurate they are as those weights are probably listed for shipping info.

they're called "norwegian sweaters" in scandinavia too, by the way.

me too. when i studied in Norway (Bergen), 2 of my friends stayed like an extra month and a half cause they had found a job selling these sweaters to tourists at the market (you gotta love Norwegian wages). anyway, the sweater they were selling were so ugly, i can't understand why you would want to buy one. and i don't think i've ever seen a norwegian wear one. anyway, surprisingly, they were somewhat popular with Russians and Italians...

I'm half Norwegian and my grandma always buys me these when we're over there. They're really warm, make sure you have some clothes underneath though otherwise they can be crazy itchy, esp. around the neck.

Got one in Second Hand for about 6 dollars, in Sweden. Really varm, 1000 gram sounds lika a good guess.

I live in Norway and noone except maybe small kids and old people who knits them theirselves wear those. They are mostly for tourists and are often given too foreign celebreties when interviewed in cheesy weekly magazines.

I got this one on sale at Express the other day for $10. They might still have them. Lambswool, not too heavy.

The Marius sweater is not a brand - more like a pattern. The blue one I posted earlier is a marius sweater. Details can vary though.
