Tapered Denim

I'm a big fan of tapered jeans, I like how they sit when you wear shoes with them. Now I'm looking for a fit like Levi 514's, with a tapered leg. Brand-wise I'm looking at APC's, and I know that their New Cures are very tapered, but how do they fit in comparison to Levi 514's?

Those New Cures are not that tapered. Just straight leg from your knees i heard with 7'' leg opening. I'm also thinking about buying those or not, because they are not that tapered.

idk if theyre "not" tapered...cuz 7" leg opening....highly doubt its a 7" knee area.... i think it is a bit tapered... i may be wrong though but i tried on New Cures and New Standards...went with the NS just cuz i wanted a pair of jeans that werent tapered and super tight on me. Check out some Sling and Stones ... i just got my second pair and im 110% in love with them.

From my expierence and knowledge of APCs:

The New Cure has a lower rise than the New Standards about a 1/2 inch and both are tapered of knee to opening about a 1-2 inch difference (knee 18, opening 16 (NS) -- knee 16, opening 15 / Both size 32) But the newcures are just overall more skinny fit than the "tapered" feeling you're looking for. But there pretty much the same, just the way you like it tapered or skinny and the rise.

You might want to check out Corpus' Tal Tapered jeans. I own a pair and they do fit great, especially with my chuckies.
