Hey Convoy --

Gonz! is a new surf-related line coming out this year by Rick Klotz of FreshJive.

Its really ill - taking it back to the original surf-culture t-shirt lines.. There's gonna be a full feature on our site in a week or 2, I'll post it on ST when it drops..

(also, our boy Jamie Storey will be talkin about his line in a new article.. keep an eye out!)

thehundreds is huge.

Perplex&Lola is dope shit, I said it before and I'd happily repeat it. I think they mixed the colorful style with sophistication and simplicity, for some reason reminds me of the style Jil Sander once had, I dunno why. But keep up the good work!

Are you selling to anyone in Denmark?

Denim Fanatismé.

The Arc - Hitting the selvage from August 1st 2005.

thanks skecr8r //

Denmark -- hehehe - I wish - The think is that we don,t have any contacts to go out there and budgets for trade shows -- what budgets --:)

- Just to let you all know ;;;;

I graduated from school less than an year and it<s not like I went into the Perplex&lola venture with established distribution channels nor someone to back us up with $$$. Anyways, it's maybe better that way --- doing my thing with out having the additional pressure of some fashion lord seeking fast returns. The good news is that we are doing fairly well in Montreal and we are learning pretty fast how things work in the industry, retail etc...

If anyone could help us with some contacts regarding distribution --- it would be so appreciated --- believe me -- we are looking for reps, distributors, agencies etc..

By the way -

Is there any super shoppers from Montreal ?

'cause we have our fashion show the 31st at la Sat

[email protected] if you would like to attend

in holland cool 'new' and small brands are:

gsus, (which is dutch and they have a really cool new collection)

guru, don't know where this is from, and i don't think they have a website, but there stuff is amazing, really love there longsleeves

de puta madre (pretty cool t-shirts etc. but i think it's more of a hype and don't think this will be around to long

Gsus has been around for (I think) more then ten years. And kind of mainstream in Holland. Guru is relatively new (few years?) but I wouldn't call it small and underground. De puta madre is the only one I haven't heard a lot about yet.

If you want something really special (and Dutch), check out these brands:

Rockwell - http://www.rockwellclothing.com/

RAZK - http://www.razk.com/

Maffia - http://www.maffia.tv

Bas Kosters - http://www.baskosters.com (very limited)

Then there are several grafiti artists designing and printing shirt every now and then..

Keep an eye on Fresh Cotton (http://www.freshcotton.com). They sell a lot of limited small local brands from Holland, as well as you typical skate brands like Volcom, Zero, A#, 2K, Commonwealth Stacks and so on. They have started shipping to the rest of Europe several months ago but not sure about US. I'm sure you can work something out if you contact them - I've noticed they're quite flexible.

Just my 2 cents.

I don't like Skooled In Korectnuss much but then I'm not a big fan of most hip hop inspired designs so....The "Do the right thing" tee is dope though....nearly bought it...
