i'm travelling to nyc from minneapolis sunday mar 7 leaving wed mar 10. i've been finding shops etc i want to get to but if anyone knows of shows or events or anything happening while we're around i'd like to hear about it. interested in design, fashion, rockandroll, vegan food, inexpensive stuff. thanks!!

Buy Time Out magazine when you arrive. Also pick up the latest copy of the village voice newspaper. They're on almost everystreet corner in manhattan in red boxes. Vegan food: Angelica's Kitchen on 7th Street between Ave A and 1st Ave. Caravan of Dreams on 6th Street Between Ave A and 1st Avenue. Good luck.
