junior high school : very tomboy-ish, 2cm-short hair, baggy pants, oversized tee and sweater, sneakers, i guess this is the face where i can not yet except that i am a girl.

early high school : goth/metal chick like, being in a band, all black, spikey accessories, pale makeup, black eyeliner all the time. the type of teenage girl i would totally laugh at right now.

nearing the end of high school to early college : a toned down version of the goth/metal chick, mostly still black, no more make up, starting to add some color. starting to realize that my previous way of dressing was horrible but at the same time realizing that i was just growing up.

now : i am quite a new member at sufu so it's not sufu that changed me. i started to change 2.5 years ago when i met my current bf when i moved to NL. he was the one who introduces me all the stuff sufu members usually talks about. back then i never care about brands. all i care was getting clothes as cheap as possible as long as it is still functional. now i know how it is worth it to save up on a high quality item. and seeing that i will soon work at the agency that represents bless, hendrik vibskov, raf by raf simons, wood wood, etc; i guess i have made quite an improvement! :D

Hmm.. I think I should post photos of my evolution at the 'evolution of your style' thread to make it more interesting. Hehehehe.

i'm from the bronx. all trends up until '05, i followed. baggy everything. soulja boy sized white tee. then i decided to try getting clothes that fit me. i swear i didn't find my waist size until i copped the uniqlo vintage chino last month. eitherwho, my senior year of hs (2 years ago) i lurked sufu trying to learn how to distress denim. then i copped 501 stf's. i don 't know where they are now, but they helped lead to my swag today.

2XL Threadless tee

Bullhead Jeans atleast 4 sizes too large

Adios, Osiris, Converse Chuck sneakers

Anything comforable enough to skate in

Then I converted to

Large Tees or Youth Large Tee

Lip Service Jeans 4 inches too short and skin tight

Adios, Osiris, Converse, and Nike 6.0 sneakers, all a size or two too large so I didn't have to buy new shoes

Fuck, I forgot this even existed. 3-4 years ago.

Before being on sufu, I didn't really know about raw denim, though it interested me a while ago, I was mostly wearing diesel jeans, polo sweaters and polo, fashion brand shoes (costume national, paul smith). But I knew it was really my own style. Then I began reading sufu and discovered that raw denim was the good stuff, that label doesn't matter and everything. It really made me discover what I really like in clothes and style, but the problem is that it really empties your wallet, and out of the ordinary stuff are expensive :( ...
