Though some might argue AG appropriated a concept themselves with the LO LIFES steez, at least they created some original graphics. Anyhow, just cause I'm getting bored of denim discussions, I figured we'd move on to disecting concept and creativity, and where it stops and simply becomes an outright boost of another persons hard work. Nobody gets surprised when a mega-corporation like Abercrombie does it, but to see a wannabee cool guy brand like Spoonfed that I assume isn't backed by some big corporate dollars not even make an effort at disguising how they're chomping other people's styles, then clearly the scene/industry is going down the shitter. Worse is the fact that capitalism's natural selection doesn't seem efficient at weeding this sort of thing out, or does it? With the exceptopn of dontbelievethehypebeast.com I'm not sure I can recall a single blog entry anywhere that actually steps up and calls things out for what they are... WACK!
