SHOPS:

Compared to the other european cities Brussels is definitely not shopaholics heaven.

DOWNTOWN:

The best shops are in the Antoine Dansaert Street. My favorites:

Stijl (Dries Van Noten/An Demeulemeester/Raf Simons/Costume National/H. Lang...)

Idiz Bogam (vintage)

M. Margiela (not in that street but close to)

Secondhand music stores in Boulevard Anspach and Rue des Pierres (in this street check out Bernard Gavilan’store: vintage clothes, objects, furniture...)

The best records shop:

Caroline Music in Passage Saint Honore

In the Rue du Marche au Charbon:

Prive Joke (beautiful shop – streetwear)

UPTOWN:

Big brands are on Boulevard de Waterloo (Gucci, Vuitton, Armani, Hermes, Dior…)

Nathan for Men in Rue de Namur (Jill sander, Prada, Dior, Helmut L., Miu Miu…)

CLUBS: the best bets are

Fuse (techno/house)

Mirano (in a old movie theater – house/electro)

If you’re gay(friendly), don’t miss the Strong Parties (every month in the beautiful residence Palace)

IMO Antwerp is beter for fashion.
