Broad shouldered and short - t-shirt problem

Hello.

I've had problems with t-shirts fitting bad pretty long now. Since i'm pretty broad shouldered, muscular - not fat - and short (170 cm) i'm having real issues with finding t-shirts that fit; either they're too long, or they're too tight.

So, my question is: which brand(s) make t-shirts that are not tight but not hiphop oversize long (length around 66-68 cm fits well on me)?

its kind of hard to name anything specific based on that, theres about 80 million different t-shirts in the world. also depends on what you're looking for, streetwear brands..? print shirts, plain shirts, exepensive or cheap...

Hmm... not sure how to measure them, but i'm 98 cm around the chest, which also is a problem.

Mike, streetwear is what i'm after, mainly. I like brands like Stussy, Umbro by Kim Jones, Wood Wood, and a lot of others. I like t-shirts with clean but nice prints.

Price is not a problem, even though I wouldn't like to pay 80 dollars or more for a t-shirt.

Um you are a 40" chest so why wouldn't a standard medium American Apparel tee fit you just fine ? If the exception is length find a really good tailor to hem up the length to your liking on each n every one

If you are 40" chest that ain't bad at all. Shit, I am 5'7" with a 49 inch chest. Try finding a T shirt in that size. A med should fit you fine even without tailoring.

i'm very broad shouldered as well, and i find that the fit on top is fine, but on the bottom, shirts just tends to drape when it should hug or be more form fitting. from my understanding, if you taper the bottom, then the shirt would be pulled and not look naturally. would one side of the shirt have to be cut all the way up?

If the shirt is too small for your shoulders, get one size bigger and take it to a tailor.

It it's too big in the shoulders, take it to a tailor.

The only thing a tailor really can't do is expand the shirt, but they can typically shrink things up as much as you want. I have a friend who had a large tailored down to a small and it fit perfectly because it was measured to fit him.

Hi!

If massive changes are made (ie from large to small), it may be better off to get a bespoke shirt made for him by the tailor.

After all, the whole look and cut of the shirt would probably be changed drastically.

stussy tees are actually somewhat standard in size, but it all depends on the size of the graphic on the shirt. Sometimes the graphic is just so wide that the shirt sizes are changed to match it, or so it appears. world tours and customades' sizings also tend to differ so much that I have no idea what the hell is going on in their heads. I remember from my past collection of about 20 customades, worldtours and other stussy t's, half of them fit slim, while the other half just felt too wide.

so i guess you should just try on all the stussy tees in whatever sizes, cause it just might fit. and like what everyone else suggested, size a bit up and tailor it down.

First off, not necessarily. If what he wants is a graphic shirt, then a bespoke shirt would not make sense.

Again, to the second part, not necessarily.
