Bumping a super-old thread.

I picked up a pair of Cassette Slim Caddy 1909 Raw Vintage jeans (very) on sale from Steady Boutique a while ago. I've been wearing them now maybe 4.5-5 months, and just washed them for the first time:

immediately pre- and post-wash:

(don't mind the horrid home patch-job on the crotch-blowout.... tight jeans + bike-commuting = aerated crotch)

a couple weeks old, and today:

Overall I'm pretty surprised by the high contrast and really vintage-blue color they've come out. There's a pretty fantastic amount of striation in the coloring (as can be seen in the close-up of the lap), whereas they started out pretty flat dark dark blue. I initially bought these because I needed a new pair of jeans, and these were inexpensive enough... but I'm digging on how they're looking now. I just wish I hadn't hemmed them.

Also- these jeans are darted through the thighs (like Somet)... I had to take the darting out pretty early on in order to fit my runner/soccer thighs in there and still be able to move.
