Well if you're in town during the day I assume you're going shopping. Its a bit hard to say anything without knowing really what you're looking for. Try to give some more info about what you're after and I'll try to list some nice shops. I might go shopping myself during the weekend if you need a guide...

Well, to be honest it'll mostly be window shopping as I'm pretty poor at the moment. But I'd like to have a look round some decent streetwear stores and maybe grab a drink and a bite to eat. Is there anywhere that stocks nice denim, jackets, hoodys, tees etc?

If the fighters aren't too bashed up we might head back into Gothenburgh on Saturday night. Any bars/clubs you'd recomend? We're mostly all into hip hop, with a few electro heads amongst us.

Ok. I would start by going to brunnsparken with a bus or a tram. Its probably the most central place in Gothenburg. From brunnsparken you can walk to "Fredsgatan" to find the big department store NK (http://www.nk.se). They dont stock the really "street" brand but pretty much everything else. They also have a nice café. Expect to find LVC, Evisu, Ijin. Paul Smith, Margiela, Acne and tons more. Follow Fredsgatan and you'll find another nice store. Solo (http://www.solo.se). They have a more street feel than NK but as Swedish fashion its a bit cleaner and dressier than most US streetwear. Solo stock LVC, Evisu, Ijin, Edwin, Acne but also smaller swedish brands like Pour and Koppartrans. Keep on walking after leaving Solo and you'll probably find the shoe store Karltex (Östa Hamngatan 45). Not far away from karltex is Victorias Arena (kungsgatan 48). Probably the nicest store design-wise we have in Gothenburg. Their denim section isnt the greatest (some nudie, crappy evisu and acne however) But they stock a lot of nice stuff. Definetly worth a visit. After leaving VA turn left onto "Korsgatan" and then right onto "Södra Larmgatan". On this street you'll find Stuk, Weekday and Lester. Lester is a small shoe store but with a lot of shoes you wont see on many other places. Weekday is Cheap mondays "flag"store but they stock other nice brands to. After checking out these stores I would take one of the trams to "Vasa Viktoriagatan". Well there you will find three new shops. Fever, Moms and Nostalgi. Fever is a store that stocks a lot of nice sneakers and clothes from kim jones, adidas, Cp Company, Puma etc. Moms is Nudies flagship store and you'll find pretty much every nudie model ever made. Nostalgi is a tiny store with its own brand. Velour. They also stock Julian red. When youre done checking these out I would take the tram to "Järntorget". About 100 m away from where the tram stops you'll find Ted Bernhardtz (http://www.tedbernhardtz.se). On the bottom floor you'll only fins suits and stuff. But upstairs they have a lot of nice denim (Ijin, Levis, Atelier La Durance, Edwin etc) and nice clothes. A short walk from Ted Bernhardtz is Gothenburgs only "real" streetwear shop, Shelta (http://www.shelta.se) they stock pretty much everything you'd want that is streetwear. Nike, 10 deep, LRG, Stussy, Adidas and New Era to name a few.

For food and drinks I would recommend Warehouse in Nordstan (http://www.nordstan.se). Nordstan is Swedens biggest mall. Warehouse is a small restaurant with an incredible all-you-can eat buffet for 75 sek (about 10$). If you arent that hungry you can get gothenburgs best kebab in a small shed on "Grönsakstorget" close to the store weekday. My tip would be the "kebabrulle" for 5 $. And its worth every penny. Gothenbyrg is filled with cafés and you wont be dissapointed anywhere imo. The best coffee in town is served at Mauritz (Fredsgatan).

I just turned 18 so Im not really up on the clubs yet. I dont think that we have a real hiphop club in Gbg. We sure need one. I would suggest picking up a (free) copy of "djungeltrumman" or "Nöjesguiden". They are lying around in pretty much every store and they have lists of pretty much everything going on in Gbg at night.

Damn this almost turned into an essay :P Hope its helpful
