Fit of APC

I want to order some APC jackets/shirts. Anyone have experience with these? How does this brand fit?

I have a 40" chest and 15.5" neck.

I already looked at the chart. Don't really understand it. It says a Medium is (US size) 30. Does anyone know what the 30 stands for? Somebody told me it's for waist size, but 30 seems a little too small for a Medium. (Not to mention waist being a strange measure to use for tops.)

Size 0 (XS) : 36

Size 1 (S) : 38

Size 2 (M) : 40

Size 3 (L) : 42

That basically sums it up.

Damn... This site is jammed with A.P.C. love lately... Depressing! The Jeans are excellent. I'm a 36 waist in most everything but a 34 in A.P.C. (33 if I don't wanna wash them). Makes sense with the price & quality but please everyone, get off of A.P.C.'s dick & stick to your Nudies, BlueBloods, or whatever... Please
