DC Shoe Co Selvage Denim

Today at work I was going through some of the new catalogs from various skate companys, and I was looking through DC's apparel section and I see "Raw Japanese Selvage denim". The jeans surprisingly looked pretty damn nice! They were japanese 14 oz selvage denim and there was a slim version and a baggy one. I dont have any pictures yet but I will post when I find them. Has anyone else heard of these? It seems like all the skate companys are def trying to get more into the fashion world.

Quicksilver has a japanese selvage denim jean as well. They were okay, but the cut was awful.

Shmack clothing has two in their new collection, which was semi-surprising. The denim feels nice, heavier than APC and a little cheaper. However, they are ugly as sin, and the cut is terrible.

using selvage just to "say" youre using it is one thing,

but using quality fabrics (selvage or not) and making great fitting jeans with appreciation for denim is why a place like superdenim exists

And yea, the cut is disgusting...

the year of cut is possibly the worst cut i have ever tried on. The shmack denim feels pretty nice, although i wonder about stretching, etc. They still are completely unwearable

I saw those in person. My rep brought them up when he was showing us spring 07. They seemed alright, didnt check them out that much cause they were the baggy fit. Volcom is making selvage too, I have a pair from last season. Pretty sick, pockets are way to big though and they hang kinda low.

I've seen both the DC selvedge and the volcom selvedge. They both have really shitty fits, and the DC one haev a big "DC" on the back right pocket. Both are very baggy by all means, considered to be boot cut , but def NOT.

chardxx has the valcom ones, the fit didnt seem to bad....i think they were rowley sig jeans or somethin so they may be different
