Does anyone have the 411 on Red Monkey Company? A friend of mine mentioned that he saw some Red Monkey men's jeans in Fader magazine and I wanted to know the scoop. Thanks!

Red Monkey = Japanese designer (don't recall the name unfortunately), Chinese made and I think it's a HK company. Uses a lot of embroidery, from Monky King embroidered back pockets, to small Japanese print style (like little waves) all over embroideries on the front leg. They come packaged in a wooden box.

ringring : I think someone posted a pair of Red Monkeys once on this forum. From what I could recall, they were quite alright. But are their denim any good in terms of quality tho?

Denim-wise, the quality looked good to me, as did the construction. I think buyers will probably be more interested in the 'decoration' with this brand.

hmmm? red monkey jeans! lol. I know that about 300 pairs were imported into the united states recently, and they're ridiculously pricey. I believe they go for 600 a pair!! But then again, there's always a way to get a discount lol.
