those fit you fantastically. and this girl too:

get a pair, junglejane. not only do they fit great, they're cheap, too!

For instance Gap's new skinny black pants ad campaign. Most of the american public can't pull it off. Credit to Gap for trying.

it was a genius campaign. women (both fat and skinny alike) were pouring in the store, buying several pairs each.

i think many US stores and gap.com sold out in sizes under 14 in less than a couple of weeks or something like that.

Chris, what are you in the Gap skinnies? I wish I could pull off the rise, but there wasn't enough room in the crotch. I had to go to a 2 in order for them not to be leggings but the waist was big. For more crotch room, a 4 also looked good but was big in the waist; a 1 was like leggings, but the waist was good.

0 or 1, depending on the wash.

Loving this thread. I've been looking for a pair of skinny raw jeans for a while now, and the only thing that keeps throwing me off is I really want a pair with a pretty severe low rise. The April 77 seems to have the look, but I don't think I'm quite skinny enough to try them without trying them on. Anywhere in LA that might carry these?

As an addendum, does anyone know any other raw jeans that are low rise?

Edit: I'm nearly done wearing my NS in 29, and I wish I would've gone with 28, for reference sizing wise

If you want low rise and skinny get the Gap women's skinny jeans. The fit in the legs is great, just the right amount of taper. Plus they are cheap. Their rise is really low too. Oh, and the ass is really slouchy.

I love the way those look, but something about the fabric turns me off. The fit never really worked on me particularly well either.

They look great on the people I've seen on here wearing them, cultpop in particular, but in person I found them a little lacking. I don't know really know why. Just one of those things, I guess.
