What up jmatsu,

I lived out there for about three years while @ UH and now Im back in CA, wish I could go back...

Anyway,

-Rai Rai on Kapahulu (Its all about shoyu charsui! Best ramen on the island)

-Tsukuneya and Imanasutei (Both great for a date)

-Phuket Thai (Mcully shopping center, get the Pad Thai)

-Hale Vietnem (Great Pho...12th ave I believe)

-Down to Earth and Kokua (great health food/organic markets on King st.)

-Yamagen (try tatsutaage (only at lunch time)

-John Dominis (good, but expensive as hell)

-Chibo (overpriced, but decent Okonomiyaki)

-Samurai takoyaki (in waikiki off of Kuhio, great food and really reasonably priced!)

Thats all I can think off the top of my head. As for dope clothing shops there really arent many in my opinion, but try Aloha Rag on Kapiolani and then its all Ebay/web shopping!

Have fun and say hello to HI for me.

(N).

There's a fantastic Japanese/Italian fusion bistro in downtown near Waikiki that is freaking fantastic. I can't remember where it is but ask some locals they'll know where it is.

Also be sure to check out Ala Moana because it's different now. But really check out Waikiki! It's gotten a lot better now.
