Hello sufu.  We are Chain Stitches.  Check us out at http://www.chainstitches.com.  We are an online retail company based out of Omaha Nebraska.  We source our products from some of the strongest emerging markets of denim.  We currently represent companies from South East Asia.  We offer products from Old Blue Co, Cheese Denim Work, Fifthrequisite, and Ceremony Fine Wear.  For our leather goods we will source from Voyej.  We have built a strong relationship with each of these companies, which we represent and have hand picked each product that we offer.  We also have a few collaboration projects in the works and some special items for the Denim Championship.

 

 

One of the products that we offer is Old Blue Co’s 21/23oz Denim.  They are an Indonesian company who has built their reputation on creating some incredible artisan products.  Many of their products have vintage details, but are finished in modern cuts.  All are made from impeccable materials.  Some of the details include 12 oz. Okayama red hickory pocket lining, "Laurel Leaf" iron plated doughnut button, made in Japan, 100% copper washer-burr rivets, made in Japan, and Two-tone double felled in-seam construction.

 

Another product we offer from Old Blue Co are their dead-stock duck jackets.

We also will be representing Fifthrequisite.   They are a Thai company that has specialized in producing slim and skinny cuts of jeans made out of denim sourced from Japan.  Many of their custom details are original and definitely give these jeans their own personality.  They offer a range of products in a range of cuts.  Their Hector model is produced in Japan while the Romeo and others are produced in Thailand.

Cheese Denim Works has established themselves with versatility and attention to detail.  They hail from Malaysia and produce both selvedge and nonselvedge jeans in a range of models.  Currently we carry their CDW SF-09X  model, which is their 17oz Unsanforized / Slim Straight jean.  It’s made with denim from Okayama, Japan.   The denim has long fibers which gives it a hairy effect.

Ceremony Fine Wear is a very unique artisan brand.  Didi makes his denim in the same building where he sells it.  The Smokestack Provisions Co. in Kuala Lumpur houses both Didi's workshop, and his showroom.  The company was founded at the end of 2010 in Malaysia.  Ceremony products build on denim designs from the past and are targeted at people who are passionate about denim, work wear and vintage clothing.  The brand offers authentic quality craftsmanship; Ceremony is about passion, culture and heritage.

 

We have received samples for one of upcoming products.  I am proud to Introduce to you Ceremony Fine Wear's special edition jean in conjunction with ourselves at Chain Stitches. It is our slim straight cut using 15 oz. 100% Zimbabwe cotton, Collect Co. Ltd. Mill denim. The more you wear this rigid denim, the softer and more comfortable it becomes. The surface has some texture to it and the indigo is deep blue.

The new denim from Ceremony Fine Wear has arrived!  We have a straight fit, and a slim fit model.  Both models are made from denim from Collect co.  We should have them updated on the website soon, along with new fit pics of all of the models that we sell.  Happy Holidays Denim heads!

Chicote I had a chance to chase down some of the details for you.  Old Blue Co and Chain Stitches collaboration jeans have been made from 16oz dry indigo selvedge denim from Okayama Japan.  100% Cotton slub yarns as I understand it.  I hope that helps.  Thanks for your interest.

Hey guys, we are restocked with more sizes of the Hector model by Fifth Requisite.  These are a traditional straight fit jean, with a low rise.  They remind me of an old school 501.  These come with a few more custom touches like the etched buttons, exposed selvedge coin pocket and many more.  Looking at these photos I realize I've lost a weight since returning to the states.  About time to get back in the gym!  Cheers

Yes, the pocket is good for all types of things.  Lighters, breath mints, pocket knives, highlighters, and if you have a limp prick I guess  you could carry your viagra as well handle gothic.

I think this is a great idea...kudos for you for thinking outside the box on what you bring to the masses. There are so many denim companies today its hard to differentiate brands/denim..but it's cool you are doing this.

Thanks poly800rock.  What you say is true.  I worked closely with Ahmad on the design of these jeans over a long period of time.  I wanted to try and do things differently, but not so drastic that people can’t accept it, or that it ruins the function of the product.  It’s not like trying to reinvent the wheel.  The companies that I’m working with were doing things differently long before they hooked up with me.  Some of what they do is very traditional when it comes to the parts and pieces.  Other things such as the patches, fasteners, and materials are nothing but original.  When I thought back to the things that drew me into selvedge denim and artisan products, one of the things that played a huge part were the custom patches.  Not to knock any company out there, but most new companies try to do minimalistic patches with their brand name hidden in the corner somewhere in small text.  We went all out on the OB patch, and I could not be happier with the finished product.  For me, it’s the exact product that drew me in to begin with.  I feel the same way with the Ceremony Fine Wear Collaboration.  Didi and Ahmad are two very talented guys, and Im honored to represent their products in the west.
