I posted two days ago about thinking about buying a size 28 pair of Nobody selvedges (I'm a size 30) and whether they would stretch. I got mixed comments but decided to get them anyhow. I haven't worn them too much yet, and they're budging some, but still pretty tight.

I soaked the waste a little, like cheampmuthr said to aid in the stretch.

I'm just wondering, how long is it going to take to stretch if it's going to stretch?

did that the first night.

i don't know - they're comfortable enough. there's still some tension on the top button and the waist is creasing a bit, and the top portion above the back stitching is slightly more stretched than the pocket area, so it occasionally pinches a little, but overall not bad.

You metioned you soaked them , but did you wear them while they were still damp ?

yea. i just soaked the waist a bit and then put them on.
