i live in jersey...there is freehold raceway mall near you but i dont think there is anything worth mentioning there. if you're up for a drive you could go to garden state plaza in north jersey near NY.. i believe there is one store there (dont remember hte name) i believe that sells nudies and vans and stuff like that. there is also a vans store in the mall if you like them. otherwise, just take a train to ny. it doesn't take that long. then you'll have a lot more options... new jersey kind of sucks.

I was just at Jersey Gardens last month, I also live in NJ. The Vans Outlet is gone, probably replaced with the Quiksilver Store. There's really not much for shopping there, it's not really an Outlet Mall like they say it is, it's more like a large mall with a few outlet stores in it. There's a Last Call Neiman Marcus and an Off Fifth Saks outlets inside, if you go avoid the Saks outlet, the deals aren't as good as the NM outlet. It's really not worth the trip, cause its just like the other malls.

The better of the malls in NJ depends on where your family is. If it's up north, then it's worth the trip to go over the border and head up to Palisades Center. It's jsut over the NJ border in NY, but it's worth the trip to go over, cause it's three floors. Be for warned though, there is tax on clothes in NY.

If they live in the Central Jersey area then you have two opinions. The first, and probably less favortable, the Jackson Outlets. Located near Six Flags Great Adventure. The outlets haven't been as good since the Levi's store left a few years ago, so you might want to skip it.

The second one and the better of the two is Freehold Raceway Mall. Freehold, as the locals call it, is the biggest in Central NJ and probably is also the better of the malls in the area. If you go there, I suggest that you go to Uniqlo and pick up a pair of jeans from them.

What store had the Nudies and how much were they if you remember.

weirdnjfan: i think the store was called image. i didn't go in to check the prices, but i would imagine they are regular retail prices like you would find anywhere else.

i'm not sure if you're talking about the same mall as me. i went last saturday to the westfield garden state plaza and the vans store was still there. i dont think its an outlet store though - it's vans triple crown. didnt know there was uniqlo at freehold raceway.. i should check it out sometime.

regardless, i would still take a train to NY anyday over any mall in NJ. its a lot more convenient cause you dont have to drive.

Image is in Woodbridge Center. God that's freaking great, now I can finally see what they look like in person. That's just awesome. Thanks for the great info.
