The idea of an overly large suitcoat is an idea that, of course, comes up when you play with the proportions of a traditional suit. But if it looks bad, IT LOOKS BAD. It almost hugs the model's hip and causes it to fold awkwardly along the pockets.

Agreed northwest. People keep saying 'clean cut', but it looks kinda messy to me. I can't imagine this being what anyone wants their shit to look like.

Sometimes it looks like she designs her menswear so she can wear it herself. The pieces with the ponyskin are pretty nice, but overall it just looks outdated to me. And the collars are too gimmicky for my taste.

i really, really don't dig the 3-button (and even 4) suit / blazer. i really thought that shit went out for good. some of the overcoat are pretty cool though

Out for good? Jil is working hard to get us to re-embrace the square toe again. She is in love with that era.

Her high button stances look really off here, before it was a bit tolerable and for +j it was even cute; now is not the case I feel.
