Fellas.. I need suggestions on a jacket

I made a post yesterday about where to find Diesel online because my retailer was sold out of the jacket I wanted. Well, I went today to another retailer which had the jacket in stock, and to my dismay, I realized that it wasn't as nice as I originally had thought (and it was made in China to boot!). In typical Diesel fashion, it had over-the-top detailing and zippers in places where the jacket did not need zippers, etc.

Basically, what I am looking for is a fitted trench-style jacket with an integrated belt (when I say integrated, I mean it has a visible belt on the outside of the jacket, but attached none-the-less). I would also like it to be shorter than a 3/4 length jacket (almost the length of a blazer). I was wondering if you guys could suggest to me some brands, or even point me to an online retailer with such a jacket in stock.

Thanks!

What I believe you are referring to (particularly in terms of lenght) is often called a "car coat" - google image it.

Many military surpluses carry items such as these in several styles as they are in many forms, staples of various militaries. You can get vintage trenches, new ones, raincoats, etc., etc. at most good army surpluses and for under $100; most in the traditional style with epaulets and a waist belt, etc.

This thread may also give you recommendations:

Also, check your local Value Village / Goodwill as trenches/raincoats clutter the shelves there.....it seems people regret buying them.

H&M (if theres one near you) has a Trench/Pea Coat and it fits a little higher than 3/4 legnths and has a belt. But its not too fitted, and the material used is like basic cotton. But its only like 60 bucks I think.

Go to a 2nd hand shop if you want cool 70s-ish jackets.
