Sorry to be annoying, but I have no choice (APC)

I've searched, and read half of the 77 page APC thread, but I'm still compelled to ask this sizing question with regards to APC.

When I got my size 32 RRDS in the mail in January, I could barely fit into them they were so tight. Fast-forward a few months and now they fit me well (a bit loose in the waist).

What size would I be in APC (Rescue)? Would a 31 be too big? I don't like my denim that tight, but I don't like it so baggy that it's hanging off my a$$.

Anyways, sorry to ask such a redundant question, but I need to figure this out and there isn't a store selling APC within 100 miles of me.

i think a 31 will do you just fine, after wear and tear a 31 should stretch a bit back to its natural state...

Hi Montreal,

I have both models and I really don't like my jeans to be tight.

I am 36 in RRDS and have a 35 in APC Rescue.

The RRDS fit is just the way I like and the APC Rescues are a bit loose. I should have bought 34 in the Rescue.

So IMO If Your 32 RRDS were very tight at first, then 31 in Rescues will be just fine. Take 30 if you want them tight at first.

no matter what, with apc especially, they will stretch out to a comfortable size on the waist, so i always buy 1 or 2 sizes down so they stretch out to my perfect size, and not stretch out to more than my size if i had bought my reg size.

i had a 31 in the RRs and it wasnt too loose, a little tight, but now they fit perfect

my apcs however came looser then id like.. i have to wear a belt with them

im normally a 30, i ordered a pair of new standards in size 27 and after a week they fit pretty normal. tight as hell at first though. if you want loose i would suggest size 2 down from normal.

nairb: I am not in Montreal at the moment.. I'm with my family in Vancouver. I do know, however, of the shop you are talking about on Saint Laurent. Never bothered to step inside.. looks way too expensive.
