How do I taper shorts, jeans, pants, etc.

I was wondering if anyone here knew how to taper shorts, jeans, and pants. I have some pieces I would like to modify a bit.

If anyone has any sort of information or guide as to how to taper clothing, I would love to see it.

i dont suggest cuting your pant leg in half, but the information they have it pretty useful.

Yeah, I want them to be taken in a bit. Especially the chino shorts I bought from J Crew.

im doing a total reconstruction of these bannana rep pants and shaping them more like dior homme slacks. if i can do it, you can too! not that hard man. just rip the seam on the inseam and just take in the desired amounts and sew it up. if you need some step by steps, i cant help you out. lol.

maybe ande whall can help you out. he makes his own jeans so im sure he can give you a couple of pointers.

If you want a better fit and an accurate taper, take it in from BOTH side seams, that way it will be more fitting to how your body is.
