His/her name is Ashura (Asyura) Danshaku -- one of the most notorious bad guy/woman boss in japanimation history. There's this one of the forerunners of the robot mangas called "Mazinger Z," and this is the enemy's boss, who orders these monsters to come and try to conquer/destroy Japan every episode. Half man, half woman. The photo here is of its figurine.

In a weird way, I can't help but think this kind of sensibility has been in Japan for a long time, and find the idea of this new SD denim strangely familiar.

sugarcane did a jean with half right and half left twill... but they are the ones with the lacing in the back. the color is really different front and back too.

I really like those sugarcanes, though the lacing and snap-buttons are kinda wack. If you wore a long-enough shirt untucked with those jeans the lacing wouldn't show.....
