Levis Vintage Collection 1897 Blanket-Lined Pleated Blouse sz S

For Sale: $old

This is the raw selvedge version of the LVC 1897 Blanket-Lined Pleated Blouse. This jacket was produced in very limited quantities, and is very hard to find in its raw state. I have rarely worn the jacket out of the house, so the denim is still in excellent condition and has not been washed. Fit is boxy (short in length, wide+long sleeves), but provides the unique look of a jacket from this era. I would recommend sizing down to achieve a more modern fit.

Measurements:

Pit to Pit: 19"

Shoulder to Cuff: 25"

Waist: 18"

Collar to Waist: 21"

Hi,

Very nice jacket, definitely interested! Would you compare the sizing of it to the LVC 506 '36? I have that one in small and post-wash og shrinkage it fits my perfectly. I reckon this is STF as well?

/Thomas

Hey Thomas, thanks for the interest in the jacket! I haven't actually seen the 506 in person, but from the info/pics that I've been able to find online the fits seem pretty close. I think the only major difference between the '36 and the 1897 would the the width of the sleeves. The sleeves on the '97 look to be a bit roomier, which would make sense given the era of the replica. I believe the Union Made (which is very close to my house here in SF) has a small in the 506 '36, I'll try to stop by and take a look at the jacket in person so I can get a better idea. In the mean time, I could definitely shoot over any additional measurements you'd be interested in.

Also, the jacket is STF and I have not washed it yet. I've barely worn it out of the house a few times, so it's still in pristine condition. Feel free to PM me as well!
