i want a nice daypack. something to carry my books and uni stuff in and general shit.

nothing to big, around 30L maybe?

so far ive seen a nice mhi and gravis pack

These aren't as tech looking as bags made by streetwear/fashion brands, but I'd reccomend Tough Traveler if you're looking for a real good bag for everyday school use. The "cayuga" in specific: http://www.toughtraveler.com/lug/back.asp This place makes a lot of hiking and camping bags/luggage, but all the stuff is real good quality, thick material and good zippers and all, made in USA. I've had a "cayuga" for probably about 10 years, and it's been in constant use.
