APC new standard and cure - difference in denim?

I was just wondering the the APC new standard and cure are made of different denim. The reason I ask this is because the cure does not have the red selvege outseam. Is it possible that the cure is still made of selvedge denim only without the seams? Thanks.

Denim is the same. The red selvage has been cutoff since the legs on the Cures taper so much.
