Buying denim for making jeans

I would like to sew myself a pair of jeans, however i have no idea where to buy or order any good denim where i live. (Vancouver, Canada) does anyone know a good place here, or somewhere on the internet to order good quality sheets or rolls of denim?

Unless you have good connections, you will have to order a very very very VERY large amount. AFAIK no mill sells small amounts of denim.
