IC: Viberg smoke jumpers #155 (smooth quarters) sz 8.5

I bought three pair of Vibergs over the holidays and these ones are a tad to big on me. For reference I normally wear a sz 8 (size 7.5 in Red Wing GTs and Dayton Service Boots). These would fit a 9 comfortably. I'm still debating holding onto them for certain occasions. These are 500 new in store, only the ones they stock do not have the smooth quarters. Got them on boxing day special. Would like to get what I paid...$300. Ship from BC, Canada.

You've posted some Red Wing GT's before right? What size do you wear in those and how does the fit compare to these?
