The fit on the special 2007 release D1334 is similar to that of the 103, a slim fitting low rise jean with cinch back. The D1334 is indian rope dyed 15 oz denim with a dual coloured arcuate. The selvage is white. They are a very nice feeling denim, quite a smooth denim.

The D1334 is dyed with a special indigo sourced from India - it is the rope dyed with this indigo in Japan. The cotton is Zimbabwe cotton, amongst the best available.

Studio D’Artisan has been producing denim of the highest order since 1979. The original architect of vintage denim production using disused shuttle looms, Studio D’Artisan is one of the worlds finest Japanese denim producers.

Products are designed in Osaka whilst the production takes place in the Okayama prefecture, the traditional cotton weaving area famous for its indigo dying and denim production.

Studio D’artisan as a brand is defined by the pig (buta), finding its way into the designs of all products with an element of humour.

Washed once (no detergent), hung to dry, never worn. Any creases are a feature of raw denim and should fade over time.

Made in Japan
