Timberland Abington F/W 2010

I just picked myself up a pair of the 5" boots in brown suede and am satisfied with the product. As far as I know, this marketing venture by Timberland is fairly new, but I think their stuff up to date is on point. How do you all feel about Abington? +/- ?

yea abington is not bad, they look quite durable - the black boots in the link you posted is pretty nice. not sure about the rest.

but again, would only cop on deep discount though, because i havent had a chance to actually feel the level of quality.

imo, the quality is decent. they have a vibram sole and use a pretty nice quality leather on the inside. well built too, id say. theyre sturdy and would be nice for the cold season

Bought Abington Guide Boots last year and was very satisfied over the winter in Germany, but they are slippery on snow. Additional the sole is lasting just for one to one 1/2 half year (Iam weighin 135lbs)

Anybody know what the price-point on this line will be? I'm feeling the black leather moc boots.

the soles vary - some are marketed as skid resistant even on oil (!?).... price points used to be all over the place but have settled around the 150-180 range. it's good stuff by and large

yeah the ones I have are Vibram with oil resist and skid resist. depending on the model and where you cop from you'll spend between 120 and 220. Not bad for some nice winter joints

half a size down is good. im a 9.5 and got a 9. they fit snug, but comfortably
