Are any Diesels selvage?

I got an old pair of Diesel Rivecs and the inside looks like selvage cloth?

Or is it just a look-a-like?

It looks like an overlock stich, rather than closed selvage, as far as I can tell from the pic.

Diesel have been known for selvage, tho, they were among the first to hit the mass market with it around 91.

That is definitely overlock...not selvage...I own alot of Diesels with the same stitchwork in all sorts of crazy colours...even tho theyre not selvage they are usually stitched very well and i like em...

Yeah, I own a similar pair, bought em off ebay thinking they were redline selvedge but they certainly are not. Not too sure what dyes diesel use but they dont seem too keen to fade either. OK denim but real nice cut.

what would the fact that theyre not selvage have anything to do with working at a Diesel store??...it only makes the potential customer question: "are these jeans selvage?"...alot easier to answer...............thats like me saying "I really want to work at McDonalds...because they dont serve Whoppers"....

Selvedge or not, Diesel denim is damn good. Definitely the toughest among designer denim labels.

^agreed. i have a pair that's 8-9 years and they are still in great condition. craziness. however, i can't vouch for any of their new stuff.

if its good denim who cares if its selvage? would you work at uniqlo for a discount on selvage even though the quality of uniqlo jeans are a lot less than those of diesel? wanting or buying a pair of jeans just because they have sweet selvage is retarded.
