i just received the 2nd version, lucky to get them both, the denim is a bit thicker and longer than 1st version, definitely the denim of the year.

i don't know how you'd ever get a hole in the back of your thigh, but i guess they look alright. i personally wouldn't pay $100 for them. the whole destroyed thing is just not my cup of tea at all.

they look more like holly wood to me (with the stripe shirt, on Sunset). I.e. looks pretty normal to me.

haha. you gotta look closer. cut and detail. the photos dont even do justice to the fading on these.

I doubt you see anyone in a stripe shirt on Sunset with 505 cut jeans.

the damage is over the top and recognizable (lotta people love to break necks) at the same time as looking good with anything..fragment logo gives the whole deal Hiroshi Fujiwara endorsement and to a lotta people that means a lot. The guy has serious good taste.

If you appreciate the Japanese sense of style these things are the holy grails of damaged denim.

Why're they called the crash series? Is it literally supposed to look like it's been through a crash?

Anyway i think the first version is decent. The second version's striped patch is interesting but iffy.

I can see why it might be considered the holy grail. Patched rips have the ability to look really great. Much nicer than open tears anyway.
