Is there a way to get out tough stains from denim?

Well I used my APC standards throughout winter, and the slush and mud has all but stained my lower leg. Also, there are muddy streaks up my thighs.

Is there a way to get rid of these stubborn stains, or should I just let it be?

if you're not ready to machine/water wash them yet, take them to the dry cleaners. (just make sure to tell them not to press them)

For dirty hems, cuffs etc, I hand-wash the affected areas, with washing soap, rinse with cold water. don't normally get any colour change betwen washed and unwashed areas unless you've had to scrub them real hard
