it's always been a mess for me

i moved about six months ago and i'm still getting stuff that's been forwarded (given that's not saying much about the post office but more about the senders)

what's tougher was them stopping my mail before i moved out and forwarding stuff to my new address before i even moved in

so if a bill was sent to me, it was intercepted at my then current address, forwarded to the address i hadn't moved into yet, then returned to the original address

also i ordered stuff off of shutterfly that never did make it to my new address (photograph book [family-like]) so i just put that in the "fuck it" column

as they say

I still get mail for tenants who used to live in my apartment over two years ago. Consistently. Like fat stacks man it's ridiculous. And sometimes they look important too :/

also i was at the pharmacy refilling a prescription (for vitamins [not for me]) and i gave them my phone number and it linked up to another person's account - i get calls all the time from bill collectors looking for that person - i've even offered to help locate her but no dice - i am convinced the number is cursed - those bill collectors are relentless - i am glad they aren't looking for me but in a sense i wish it was me they were looking for so i could just end the calls or have a reason to turn off the ringer - it is harassment - you can tell when you answer the phone - the tell tale dead air before someone clicks on - the whir of cassette tape wheels - feedback squeal - the echo
