custom ties?

is there such a thing as custom tie makers? i saw some nice ties in a classic movie the other day. i'd like to find some similar ties, but the effort it would take to hunt down a specific tie would kill me. id rather show someone a picture and have them make one...does something like this exist? also im not looking for custom-yet-crappy

Apparently they can custom-design patterns in woven silk, but there may be a minimum yardage that you'd have to purchase - I'm not 100% sure on that part.

ok here are two shots of the tie i saw. from what i can tell it's a purple paisley pattern with some light blue. i will be severely impressed if you know where i can get a similar tie! bonus pts if you can ID the movie based on these cropped photos hehe

Altea makes paisley ties with that exact size boteh.

i saw a tie in the fader a few years ago that had two fat ends, each end being a different color so you could have a different color knot than your tie. does anyone know what brand this was or any other brands with ties like that?

Zegna made what they called a Twin Tie a couple of years ago.

You could also look into Interno 8, and I think Hermes tried the idea too.
