Storing Kicks?

I live in a converted loft and thus dont have closets in my apartment. To solve this problem for my clothing I have wardrobes (from Ikea). However, there is not enough storage for the myriad footwear that I have. Ive noticed that if I simply leave my kicks out they get dusty and dirty (I live in Brookly).

My question is: If I store my sneaks in a rubbermaid trunk, like the one the baby is in here: do I need to ventilate it somehow? Should I use cedar? Something to absorb any possible moisture? Some other method all together?

You store babies in Rubbermaid containers?!

Those containers should be fine for sneakers. If you're worried about moisture, just toss a silica pack or two in the toe of each shoe when you store them.

Don't you hate in when you're in a line and there's that guy like right behind you and you can feel him almost touching you, hovering near you, in your personal space and all you want to do is turn around and scream, "move three feet back before I beat you," but you don't? They'd put you in a strait jacket if you did, and it is soooo hard to find a pair of shoes that match those.

think you should just get a simple work shelf and stack your shoeboxes containing shoes. nice and simple.

btw the nephew's butt is pretty big.

I just leave them in the boxes with lots of silica packs, and then stock them in my closet or under my bed.
