Ironically I'm in the same boat and the same size. However I'm looking for something more in the $50-$150 range.

I need to narrow my choices for a great pre-washed/non-raw everyday jean and don't have time to go all overrying them on. I like the fit of my STF 501's and an old pair of Evisu (Lot 0001).

The ernest sewns are really nice, The fit is great. Ill try and get a pick up soon, I just got a pair of the Hutch model last weekend. They feel great.

for the record, "honeycombs" refer more to the back of the knee and back of the leg opening. whereas at the upper thigh they call it "whiskers".
