guys, do ripped cuffs in dry projects happen often? i have these two small holes that r worrying me.

if u get rips n tears and ur first few months r up, do u continue cuffing them to hide the rip? I originally intended to remove the cuff, and have them just straight but i'm afraid the hole will shift up with the shrinkage

pics would be awesome

If it shifts up just repair the hole and then hem. I think cuff repair look cool if you use contrasting stitching that matches not the hem thread but the seam thread. There are some pics of this type repair on mynudies.com where they used the repair kit that Nudie supplies. It looked pretty cool.

I've got the same problem on most of my long term projects. Once I've washed them and they've settled down a bit I'm going to attempt to replicate the repairs shown on the 45rpm site.

I had a few small holes from various sized cuffs in my nudies, after I gave em a hot wash the holes opened up pretty largely and started to fray a bit. Im gonna patch it up as soon as I can get my hands on some fabric (not to mention time).
