How'd you size them compared to what you normally wear?

Been looking around online for some but they are all the double knee padded ones which look rather ugly in my opinion. Do they have those in khaki or is it just black?

Size down one from my natural waist, size 32. Length runs a tad short I think.

I think the single knee are just in black actually. The double knee khaki looks bad but there are some other colors that would be less ugly.
