Hello Sufu, bit of input needed.

Quarter century through life and im not happy with things, I have an increasing gnawing feeling I should leave england and just start again somewhere far away.

Has anybody done this? I was thinking of california or NY or paris.

Thread isn't posted in trash as I want serious input and also I thought elements of culture and lifestyle connect with the theme.

Had the same feeling a year and a half ago when I bought a one way ticket to San Francisco from Dallas. I know it isn't that far but it is a world of difference. I figure I'll spend another 4 or 5 years here before I check out another country.

Just do it. I thought on it for 6 months after spending 5 hours in SF and one day just got on xpedia and was a little surprised at myself when I purchased a ticket for a flight that was set to depart in 2 weeks.

I lived out of a duffle bag for the first 3 months but I'm on my feet now. Have a few grand in the bank before you do anything, and then go wherever.

dunno if this counts but im getting kicked out in a few days so im scramblin all my cash together and headed to live in my uni town... ill be there for the next 3 years anyways so why not?

thanks for the comments, I think an extended break will do me good - I can always just stay somewhere.....
