  1. Past hour
  2. I didn’t know these existed, and I’m in love.
  3. Wow that's so sick! How'd you get into frame building?
  4. This one's too utilitarian for me—or rather, I guess, too utilitarian while having a strong focus on small game hunting, which is not at all relevant to me. In particular, the way that the cut balloons out so much towards the bottom makes a lot of sense from the perspective of wanting to fill up all of the pockets, but makes a lot less practical sense from the perspective of just wanting a vest to wear around for fun and not look too silly in the process.
  5. Today
  6. still available, and adding P15-DS black size S full pack for $400. take both for $1200 shipped :^)
  7. The most beautiful bag ever @Duke Mantee 🙌🙌🙌🙌
  8. I’m with you on vests, just a line that I can’t seem to cross. So I’ll be passing as well. And you know if I really wanted to try a vest I probably would’ve already gotten several from FW.
  9. @AlientoyWorkmachine as far as the hi back trousers go the fit is wide but not balloon - like. Everything is much more proportional than other wide jeans I’ve owned. It’s a high rise with sewed in buttons (including inside suspender buttons), I wouldn’t say it’s a MUST tuck in, but for me at least shirts get a weird bump around my belly button, if I don’t tuck, since that’s where the rise reaches. @Duke Mantee yes I agree. I think it’s the same fabric they use on their 30s jeans, but maybe I’m wrong. In general I find their fabrics to be quite interesting. Kinda wish I lived in a wool- appropriate climate so that I could try their wool trousers and cardigans. @tooth those look really good. I don’t know if you tried them on yourself or but keep in mind that the model on their website usually wears everything extremely oversized. They look much more “normal” when worn in regular sizing
  10. overloading the already stretched tan quota of the page... 50s jc higgins - orslow - tcb - russells
  11. @AlientoyWorkmachine thank you. I couldn't really say what the wash schedule has been. I can't wear them at work (for the past 12 months anyway) and I have worn some Roy's, Warehouse, Mister Freedom and other chinos all throughout as well. I just wash them when I feel like it's time. I couldn't really even guess as to how many washes beyond saying more than 6 and less than 15. I only have access to a laundromat so I wash and tumble these on "Colors" and "Low" whatever that means on those machines.
  12. Not here. Vests in general hold little interest to me. There's a dividing line somewhere in the workwear spectrum that is hard for me to define, but I know that when something is on the other side of it, it's not for me. Even if I liked vests, this would fall on the other side of that line. Kudos to anyone who rocks it though.
  13. https://www.nytimes.com/2024/05/28/style/benjamin-talley-smith-denim-jeans.html?smid=nytcore-ios-share&referringSource=articleShare This guy annoys the heck out of me. He thinks he "made" jeans in nearly everyone's closet. Aside from his language stripping the actual garment workers of what they did, I'm quite happy there's nothing in my closet he's had anything to do with. I don't tend to follow a lot of fashion journalism but Vanessa Friedman in particular always seems a little out to lunch with her columns, especially when it comes to denim, and apparently her guests too.
  14. Those look great. What has your washing schedule been like? I have a whole slew of 0105's just waiting to really get started on - I love the cut, but I also have some jeans I want to get through first. Problems.
  15. The graphic that Denime released actually confuses me the more that I look at it. Nearly every jean model in it is labelled 232. The 15.5 oz weight and purple selvedge for the 220a in the translated write-up is different than the 14.25 oz and yellow selvedge in the previous run (and different from the Warehouse and Bears restock description). @Alec Leamas The 224 ecru description calls out them being part of the XX series. I wonder if they are the pair in the 3rd yellow column labeled as 232. The description makes the ecru 224 sound like the natural version of their new XX denim which sounds consistent with their chart
  16. Anyone pre ordering the vest? It’s a cool piece but I don’t think I could pull it Off.
  17. Don't know if they're actually a new release or not but Lot 224 in Ecru / mother cotton has just appeared on Warehouse's own online store: https://www.ware-house.co.jp/?pid=179513015 I also spotted that Bears and a few other places have a full restock of 220a, wondering if all these stirrings are pointing towards imminent release of the new Lot 232's! I hope so!
  18. Yes, I decided to keep them. Only the FC is looking for a new home. Well, I spread the wear across multiple pairs. Sometimes I focus for a while on one pair and it results in some nice fades but most of the time the wear is spread too many pairs to show evolution. I do like faded jeans but it's not my goal (anymore) to fade them. I just want to wear nice jeans 😅
  19. Of course! I thought you were selling the Libra Pondus pair though. Have you had second thoughts? I don’t know how you keep so many pairs on the go, I have a few pairs that I really want to start wearing but I’d just end up with lots of moderately worn jeans. That’s why I try to focus on a few pairs at a time, currently my SC Okis but if summer ever arrives I’ll switch to my LVC 55s and WH 1003XX.
  20. Year of model would have been my favourite but 4 of them are generic 40s model. So I just took the alphabetical order 😉
  21. Pos Rep to @bob_jsus @ᠪᠣᠷᠵᠢᠭᠢᠨ Sübütei Selling and Buying. Both good comms, pleasure to deal with.
  22. I don’t think it’s price, date (year of model), size or chronological order of purchase, so I’d guess from most to least worn?
  23. 👍 And now an even easier question: explain the arrangement!
