FS: Julius size 2 ss08 jut neck sheep leather jacket "insanity in industrial"

purchased off yahoo.jp for probably too much money and worn lovingly for quite a bit. selling only because i need funds to buy panty dropping furniture. even though jacket itself has dropped the panties on more than one occasion. it kills me to sell this.

black in color

size 2 (japanese medium)

pretty much needs no description. this is the soft version with less distressing. sheep leather (same as ram?). i like this version better than the newer ones with just two really long pocket zippers. buttery soft. no rips, tears anywhere. i don't smoke. just measuring the jacket made my hands smell like leather. smells good

gunmetal riri zips (8 of em!)

i like how they used different "softnesses" of leather in different areas. tougher leather for the shoulders and outer arms. butter butter soft inner arms for example.

julius clothing hanger included but not pictured

i would rate the jacket 8.5/10 in terms of condition. points off because of normal patina around wrists and neck area. and a few blemishes i've documented below.

measurements:

pit to pit: 19inches

rear shoulder to shoulder (very hard to measure because of raglan cut): ~16inches

shoulder to sleeve length (very hard to measure because of raglan cut): ~26.5inches

arm inseam from armpit to wrist: 20inches

armpit to hem length (high arm holes) : 17niches

front collar to hem length: 22.25inches

rear collar to hem length: 24.5inches

wrist opening: 5inches (expandable by zippers)

i used stick on beads. when i took em off, i forgot to heat up the adhesive before taking em off so it took off the ever slightest bit of material off the jacket on a couple of spots. all it really did was make the jacket loose its shine in those areas. pretty inconspicuous really. and the jacket is already distressed a good amount.

i really tried my best to get the worst of it. thats it. maybe if you oiled it, it would go away, but can't be bothered by that and i don't even think twice about it when i wear the jacket.

also the gunmetal finish is wearing off a bit on the lower main zipper:

damnit why do i never find a julius leather with the right measurements? theyre either way too small or a couple of centimeters too large.

im starting to think that they might just not be designed for tall, slim scandinavians. They seem to work better on shorter, more "compact" built people.

anyways this jacket is awesome and its really hard to resist the temptation even though im pretty damn sure it wouldnt work out for me

Actually I think it doesn't fit me as well as it should at all. I actually roll the sleeves because they are too long. And the jacket itself would be nicer on me a couple of inches shorter. And my chest and shoulder make this a bit too snug for my liking. Would be better on a taller slimmer person no doubt. I just kinda forced it to work for me. Check out how Julius models look.
