Pickd up via 'supermarket'

Thought i'd post a few pics. They are too long in the leg at the mo. approx 39 inches. 36-37 would be ideal but they need a soak I think. Plan is to wear them around the flat a bit to stretch the waist out a bit then do a cold soak in the bath.

Hope this is of interest to people. (sorry about the location... needed somewhere to rest the camera. worktop had to do!)

Wow, really liking the silver selvedge. Did those come with no back pocket stictching? Have to say I don't mind the back pocket stitching of Samurai's

No stiching. I like that though. I'm really pleased with the fit. I just need to sort the soak out to bring the leg length in some. Best way to go about that? I was going to throw them in the bath for 2 or 3 hours in cold water.

the label says 40 on it. I think I'll do the cold soak first and see how it effects the leg length then I will have a good idea if I will need to hem them at some point which I think I may not need to do as a 36 leg would be great!

I cant see me wanting to sell them mate but they would be ideal for you. I'm 6'2" so that gives you a good idea. worth seeing if you can get hold of a pair icon_smile.gif

Samurai's Levi's 66 repros, 15oz, second model. (Note there are two seagulls flying above Mt Fuji on the goatskin patch -- the first 66 repro model had one seagull).

There is in fact back-pocket stitching, but it is done in dark thread so only becomes apparent as the jeans fade.

Note the samurai motto Ââ€Âs–³Âí on the buttons.

Class, Guy... class jeans. Wear them in good health.

Well I washed them on a 40 degree wash and they have shrunk down in the leg. They are perfect for me now so I'm very happy. The denim is still pretty stiff. I may buy some starch for them.

Great looking jeans. The buttons. The silver. The length (my height issues, ya know). All Boss. What is the weight? I've been digging their 5000's, but I have enough denim for now. I really really really really do.

One thing: What did the waist measure pre-soak?

14 oz.

Waist was prob 35 but not sure as never measured exactly. hasn't shrunk much at all and is stretching out a bit now.
