Hi Ironman! I live in Yokohama, another large city next to Tokyo. Hiphop, dancehall and R&B are very popular here. Being an ex-Montrealer I would recommend you guys checking a club in Yokohama Chinatown called Circus. The crowd is mostly American military but the DJs suck!!! Which is very unusual. Just last week I was telling my friend how diverse Canadian DJs are. I'm not a promoter but I'd look into being one just for toi!
