cheapest AA is to walk in and take whatever you want.

i have several friends that work at manhattan stores and dove charney walks in freaking out on employees that someone confronted someone for stealing, saying "who cares, let whoever take whatever they want... i don't want our company having the image of wal-mart, tackling people for stealing things."

not to say i endorse this, but its pretty interesting.

i hear the same thing about Borders (i know, not fashion related, but bear with me for an interesting story)

my friend worked there one summer and their policy on shop lifting? don't confront, don't say anything, just try and make a note of what book they're stealing so we can re-stock later.
