1947 501 Change...

You know how it seems Levi's slightly alters their 501 fit every 10 years or so? Well I was wondering when they eventually tweaked their 1947 model?

The shape changed around 1954 to one with a straight leg, but slightly wider. It's kind of more of a 'beat' look. There are great photos of Micky Spillane from this era, looking really cool. By then it had a double-sided Levi's tab, and a leather-look patch.
